Report: Nebraska’s decision to join the Big Ten leads to domino effect and a huge Pac-10 conference.

What the hell is happening in the world of college football? Nebraska’s reported decision to join the Big Ten apparently means the end of the Big 12, with six of that conference’s teams (Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Colorado) potentially on their way to the Pac-10, which, if this all comes to pass, will be a super-duper conference.

According to ESPN: “The new conference would be split into divisions with Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado forming an Eastern Division with Arizona and Arizona State opposite the former Pac-8 (USC, UCLA, Stanford, Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State) in the Western Division.”

With Texas in the Pac-10, USC, which has reportedly just been slapped with a two-year bowl ban, doesn’t look to be conference’s premier program anymore. Which is just fine with us.
